Men’s golf finishes day two of Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – The Husson University men's golf team continued play at the 53rd Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate on Saturday, competing in the second round at the Paradise Point Gold Course.

The Eagles turned in a team score of 315 (+27) during the second round, bringing their two-day total to 628 (+59) and placing them 23rd overall in a competitive 24-team field heading into Sunday's final round.

Junior Ty Dickson led the way for Husson in the second round, carding a 74 (+2) after opening with a 70 in the first round. Dickson sits tied for 18th overall through 36 holes, highlighting a strong and consistent performance against a deep field.

Junior Juan Carlos Hernandez followed with a second-round 77 (+5), matching his first-round score to sit tied for 81st overall at +10.

Junior Jace Cook recorded an 85 (+13) in Saturday's round and is tied for 112th overall at +24, while freshman Michael Bruce improved from his opening round with an 81 (+9) and sits 114th overall at +25.

Junior Bradley Chisholm rounded out the Husson lineup with an 83 (+11) in the second round and is currently 115th overall at +26.

At the top of the leaderboard, Oglethorpe's Jackson Hiller holds the individual lead at -8, while Drew University leads the team standings at -2 overall.

Husson will look to build on its second-round effort and close out the tournament strong in Sunday's final round at Paradise Point.
