WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly award winners for women's lacrosse on Monday and Husson University senior Averi Baker was named player of the week.

Baker put together an explosive week on offense that saw the Eagles go 1-1 in Hilton Head, South Carolina, earning a win over Cornell College, before falling in a high-scoring contest to Western New England University.

Baker recorded a hat trick to go along with two assists in Husson's win over Cornell, also adding two ground balls, two caused turnovers and two draw controls, as Baker passed current head women's lacrosse coach, Amanda Deshaies, to become the all-time program leader in points. In the close loss to WNE, Baker posted a career-high seven goals, in addition to two assists, while contributing two ground balls and seven draw controls, as Baker became the first player in women's lacrosse history to surpass 200 career points.

Additionally for Husson, junior Jory Boyd and freshman Lauren Small were both named to the weekly honor roll.

The Eagles return to the field on Saturday when they head to Massachusetts Maritime Academy for a 1 p.m. contest.
