BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University men's lacrosse program has announced its schedule for the 2026 season, featuring a home-heavy conference slate, a spring road trip through the Mid-Atlantic, and key early-season tests against regional opponents.
Husson is looking to build on a NAC semifinal appearance last season under sixth-year head coach Mike O'Neill, who led the team to a NAC East Division title in his first season.
"We're very optimistic heading into the 2026 spring season," said O'Neill. "This is the most talented men's lacrosse team that has represented Husson University, and the commitment and work ethic this group has shown has been impressive. Now it's about continuing to grow together and seeing how it translates once we get on the field."
The Eagles open the season at home on February 24, welcoming the University of Southern Maine to John P. Boucher Field and will be looking to pick up another victory over the Huskies, following a slim 4-3 overtime win last year.
Husson then heads south in early March for a three-game road trip, beginning at Albright College on March 8, followed by contests at Centenary University (N.J.) on March 9 and Hood College on March 11. The matchup with Albright will be the first between the two programs, while Centenary and Hood battled the Eagles for the first time last season.
Husson returns to New England on March 14 to face the University of New England before opening North Atlantic Conference play at home on March 21 against Anna Maria College. Conference action continues on the road at SUNY Cobleskill on March 28, followed by a nonconference matchup at Mount Saint Mary College (N.Y.) the next day.
April opens with a road contest at Salem State University before Husson travels to Purchase College on April 4. The Eagles then return to Bangor for another home conference game on April 11 against SUNY Delhi, followed by a midweek NAC matchup at Thomas College on April 14.
Senior Day is scheduled for April 18, when Husson hosts Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts at John P. Boucher Field. The regular-season home schedule concludes on April 25, as the Eagles welcome Maine Maritime Academy in a North Atlantic Conference showdown against the defending conference champions.
The NAC championship tournament will be held on May 2 and 3 at the site of the top-seed with the top four teams qualifying for the tournament.
