WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference released its weekly award for women's volleyball on Monday and Husson University women's volleyball freshman Peyton Hooker was named rookie of the week.
Hooker played a huge role in Husson's conference-opening win over Lesley, tallying a near triple-double with 16 digs, 13 assists and nine service aces in the match. Hooker started off the second set of Husson's win by serving the first 13 points, four of which were service aces. Hooker also added 10 digs and 12 assists in Husson's midweek non-conference loss to Saint Joseph's College (ME).
Husson returns to action on Friday when it heads to the University of Maine-Presque Isle for a NAC contest.
