WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference selected its weekly award winners for women's tennis on Monday and Husson University women's tennis freshman Katelyn Cotter was named rookie of the week.
Cotter picked up her second-straight rookie of the week after she went 4-0 across singles and doubles action this past weekend on Husson's trip to Vermont. Cotter did not drop a game against Vermont State University Lyndon on Saturday, winning 6-0, 6-0 in singles and 6-0 in doubles. Against Vermont State University Johnson, Cotter won 6-0, 6-0 in singles and captured a 6-1 victory in doubles.
Additionally for the Eagles, Senior Joey Lynn Ramsdell and the doubles team of Ramsdell and senior Julia Barber were named to the weekly honor roll.
Husson is back in action on Wednesday for a NAC battle with Thomas College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
