WATERVILLE, Maine – The Husson University men's golf team delivered a balanced showing at the Colby Sid Farr Invitational, held at Waterville Country Club, with all five Eagles finishing inside the top 16 and Husson taking home the team title.
Husson won the team title with a score of 313 to take home its first tournament win of the season.
Leading the way, junior Bradley Chisholm fired a steady three-over-par, 75, to claim individual runner-up honors, just three shots behind medalist Owen Carlson of Colby, who posted an even-par 72.
Classmate Juan Carlos Hernandez followed close behind with a 77 to tie for fourth, while freshman Michael Bruce added an 80 to share sixth place.
Junior Ty Dickson carded an 81 to join an eighth-place tie, and junior Jace Cook rounded out Husson's lineup with an 84 to finish tied for 16th.
Husson returns to action tomorrow with the University of Maine at Farmington Invitational on tap at the Waterville Country Club.
