WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly awards for women's tennis on Monday and Husson University women's tennis freshman Katelyn Cotter was selected as rookie of the week.
Cotter went 2-0 in her only two matches of the week in singles competition, winning 6-0, 6-1 against Lesley University and 8-1 against the University of Southern Maine.
Additionally for Husson, junior Kayla Lockhart was named to the honor roll after posting a 2-0 week in singles action, while Lockhart and sophomore Anah Albert were named to the honor roll as a doubles team after going 2-1 in three matches last week.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday with a doubleheader at Vermont State University Lyndon beginning at 11:30 a.m.
