Sow earns CNE rookie of the week

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England announced its weekly award winners for football on Monday and Husson University football freshman Malik Sow earned rookie of the week honors.

Sow anchored the Husson defense last weekend against Springfield College, posting 15 total tackles against the Pride. The first-year linebacker tallied four solo stops and 11 assisted tackles.

The Eagles look to kickstart their home schedule this Saturday when they host Worcester Polytechnic Institute at 1 p.m.
