Men’s golf concludes 2024-25 season at NCAA national championship

PENFIELD, N.Y. — The Husson University men's golf team wrapped up its 2024–25 season on Wednesday at the NCAA Division III National Championship, held at Midvale Country Club. The Eagles posted a team score of 630 over two rounds, missing the final cut.

Graduate student Jack King led the Eagles in the final round, shooting a two-over-par 74 to finish seven-over for the tournament.

Fellow graduate student Max Woodman turned in a seven-over-par round on Wednesday, finishing 10-over for the tournament.

Graduate student Chris Kauppila carded an 83 in the final round, ending the tournament at 19-over par. Sophomore Jace Cook recorded the team's fourth qualifying score with an 84, closing out his tournament at 28-over par.

Graduate student Will Kavanaugh concluded his final collegiate round with a 24-over-par total.

Despite missing the cut, the Eagles capped off a strong season with their appearance at the NCAA National Championship.
