Box Score WINONA, Minn. — The Husson University softball team dropped a hard-fought 3-0 decision to DePauw University on Friday in the NCAA DIII Softball Regional Championship.
DePauw (25-13) struck for three runs in the first inning to take an early 3-0 edge over Husson 27-12.
The Eagles were limited to just three hits on the day as sophomore Carmyn King, graduate student
Julia Gregoire and junior
Morgan Tainter all finished with hits. Gregoire tallied Husson's only extra-base hit with a double.

Sky Johnson who allowed three runs in the first inning, settled down over the remaining six innings, allowing seven hits and striking out six to keep the Eagles alive, however, DePauw kept Husson in check.
