MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Husson University men's golf team placed fourth in the New England College Spring Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Derryfield Country Club in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Husson totaled a 31-over, 311, as a team, which placed them fourth out of the five-team field with the University of Southern Maine and New England College tying for the team title with a 27-over, 307.
Sophomore Jace Cook finished in fourth-place individually for the Eagles on the par-70 course by firing a six-over, 76 for the round.
Graduate students Jack King and Chris Kauppila weren't far behind, as they entered the clubhouse with a pair of seven-over, 77s, to tie them for seventh-place.
Sophomore Ty Dickson carded an 11-over, 81, to round out the scoring players for Husson, while fellow sophomore Bradley Chisholm fired a 16-over, 86, for the Eagles.
Husson returns to the links on Sunday when it travels to Southern Maine for another one-day event.
