FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — Graduate student
Jack King finished third overall, while the men's golf team finished eighth in the final day of the Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational on Sunday.
The Eagles finished with a 28-over par, 588 as a team, beating No. 36 Trinity College, while Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute won the tournament with a 568.
King finished even for the tournament, following a two-over par round on the second day to finish third overall.
Graduate student
Chris Kauppila climbed 11 spots on the final day, finishing five-over par for the tournament, while graduate student
Will Kavanaugh moved up seven sports finishing with a 14-over par.
Additionally, graduate student
Max Woodman finished 15-over par, while sophomore
Jace Cook carded a 16-over par.
Husson will now compete in the NEC Spring Invitational on Sunday in Manchester, New Hampshire hosted by New England College.
