SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Husson University men's golf team concluded play at the 2025 Dr. Tim Brown Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Ballston Spa Country Club in Saratoga Springs, New York.
As a unit, Husson recorded an eighth-place finish, tying with Skidmore College, with a score of 588 over the two-day tournament, as Amherst College won the event by 11 strokes with a score of 556.
Graduate student Max Woodman tallied a career-low and tied the second-best round score in program history with a four-under, 67, in round two to finish the tournament in a tie for sixth-place with a total score of 140 (-2).
Graduate student Jack King recorded a four-over, 75, on the final day to finish at +6 for the weekend, while classmate Chris Kauppila posted a final round score of 77 (+6) to conclude the tournament at +11.
Graduate student Will Kavanaugh matched Kauppila's score of +6 to conclude his weekend at +16, while sophomore Jace Cook shot a nine-over, 80, on day two to finish at +8 for the weekend.
Sophomore Juan Carlos Hernandez shot an 11-over, 82, in his final round as an individual to finish at +16 for the tournament.
The Eagles return to action next weekend for the Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Bethpage State Park Golf Course.
