WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its prechampionship coaches poll results for men's cross country on Thursday and Husson University was picked fourth.
The defending NAC champions, the University of Maine at Farmington, were picked to repeat as champions, receiving 45 total points and six out of seven first-place votes.
Thomas College and Maine Maritime Academy finished tied for the second spot with 38 points apiece, while Husson came in at number four with 29 points and the remaining first-place vote.
Lesley University was predicted to finish in fifth place with 21 points, while the University of Maine-Presque Isle (18) and Vermont State University Lyndon (7) were picked to round out the rankings.
The NAC championship will take place on Saturday at Saxl Park in Bangor.
