HOPKINTON, N.H. — The Husson University men's cross country team closed out its 2025 season on Saturday at the NCAA Division III East Region Championships at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds.
Freshman Jake Violette delivered Husson's top performance of the day, finishing in 31:06, powered by consistent pacing at each split—7:10 at 2K and 15:09 at 4K.
Senior Thomas Hinton also completed the regional course, crossing in 36:38 after battling through the late stages of the race. Hinton hit the 2K in 8:25 and the 4K in 17:53 before pushing through a demanding back half of the race to close out his season with grit.
Husson concludes its 2025 regular season and will look to build for a 2026 push next year.
