Track & field announces indoor meet schedule

BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University men's and women's track & field teams have unveiled their indoor 2025-26 competition schedule, featuring a strong lineup of meets across New England as the Eagles prepare for their first season under now permanent head coach Mitch Moczygemba.

"We are very excited to announce our indoor track and field schedule," said Moczygemba. "It's been great opening up our indoor season at Bowdoin the last few years, and we are excited to do so again this year. I think we have a great mix of smaller and larger meets with a variety of competition sites and competitors. More than anything, I can't wait to get to see all of our athletes compete. We've put together a great fall so far, the atmosphere around the team has been great, and practices have been a blast so now it's just time to see it all come together during competition."

The season begins in early December and includes several stops at top regional venues, culminating in the New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at The TRACK at New Balance in Newport, Rhode Island.

The Eagles will open the season on December 6 at the U Bears Alumni Invitational, hosted by Bowdoin College at Farley Field House in Brunswick, Maine. A week later, Husson heads to Orono for the UMaine Black Bear Invitational on December 13.

After the holiday break, the Eagles return to action with a two-day meet at the Bates Invitational & Multi on January 16-17 inside Merrill Gymnasium in Lewiston. The following weekend, Husson travels to Gorham for the Husky Invitational at the University of Southern Maine's Costello Field House on January 31, a key midseason tune-up.

Championship preparation intensifies in February as the Eagles return to Bates for the State of Maine Intercollegiate Indoor Track & Field Championship on February 7, where Husson will compete against the state's top collegiate programs. The team then makes a stop in Waterville for the Mule Tune-Up hosted by Colby College on February 21, their final regular-season meet before the postseason.

The season concludes at the New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 28, where Husson's top athletes will test themselves against elite regional competition at The TRACK at New Balance.
