BANGOR, Maine – Husson University women's soccer head coach Dennis Mullins announced the hiring of Christine (Chris) Selby to the coaching staff as the team's sport psychologist.
Selby works as the team's counseling and sport psychologist, helping the team by providing mental skills consulting.
She has maintained a part-time private practice working with athletes and non-athletes in the Bangor area for over 15 years and earned the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential in 2014.
Selby has emeritus status as a certified mental performance consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and is past-president of the Society for Sport, Exercise and Performance.
She graduated from Carthage College with a bachelor's in psychology, earned her master's degree in athletic counseling from Springfield College and her PhD in counseling psychology from the University of North Texas.
