Gerfen selected as NAC co-player of the week

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its first weekly awards of the season on Tuesday and Husson University sophomore Thea Gerfen was voted co-player of the week.

Gerfen helped the Eagles to a 3-0 season-opening win at Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Friday with two penalty kick goals, which were the first two goals of Gerfen's collegiate career.

Husson returns to the field on Saturday when it hosts Wheaton College at 2 p.m.
