After a stellar undefeated regular season and strong performance in the playoffs so far, Husson's Overwatch 2 Gold Team has made it to the ECAC finals in their league, the first esports team at Husson to make it to the championship round for their respective game.
They stayed undefeated on their way to the championship round, defeating Southwestern Assemblies of God University 3-0 in the quarterfinal round and defeating California State University, Monterey Bay 4-0 in the semifinal round.
The team is now set to play against Elmira College in the finals match. Elmira also had an undefeated regular season, and swept their opponents in the playoffs on their way to the championship round.
