BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Husson University women's indoor track & field team began its season at the UBears Alumni Invite on Saturday at Bowdoin College.
Junior
Niamiah Perry began the Eagles day by finishing third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.55, while freshman
Molly Dearborn finished fifth in the 200-meters with a mark of 29.60.
Dearborn added a third-place performance in the 400 meters with a time of 1:10.18.
Perry clocked a personal-best time of 10.42 in the 60-meter hurdles to finish fourth, while freshman
Brooke Chase posted a 10.67 to finish fifth and junior Alexis Freeman tallied an 11.44 to finish sixth.
Husson's 4x200-meter relay team of Freeman, junior
Nina Gregory, freshman Natasha Montreal and Perry finished second with a time of 2:00.06.

Abby Hunt and senior
Maddie Jackson won the 4x800 relay with a time of 11:55.73.
Gregory won the high jump with a height of 1.56 meters, followed by Freeman who cleared a PR height of 2.90 meters to win the pole vault.
Monreal cleared 4.86 meters to finish second in the long jump, followed by Chase and Gregory who finished fifth and sixth, respectively with distances of 4.41 and 4.09 meters.
Monreal added to her day by winning the triple jump with a distance of 10.65 meters, while Chase finished fourth with a 9.64-meter jump.
Freshman
Paige Chesbro threw 9.02 meters in the shot put, followed by junior
Megan Fletcher who posted an 8.82-meter throw and senior
Aaralyn Scroggins threw 8.53 meters.
Additionally, Scroggins finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 11.46 meters, while Fletcher threw 11.13 meters to finish fourth and Chesbro posted a mark of 9.73 meters to finish fifth.
Husson competes at the University of Maine on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14.
