WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its prechampionship poll results for women's track & field on Thursday and the Husson University women's track & field team was chosen to finish second.
Thomas College was chosen as a unanimous favorite by collecting 36 total points and all six first-place votes, while the Eagles racked up 28 total points in the vote to finish in second-place.
The University of Maine at Farmington picked up 26 points to slot in the third spot, while Vermont State University Johnson posted a total of 18 points to come in fourth.
The University of Maine-Presque Isle and Lesley University each totaled nine points in the poll to finish tied for fifth.
Husson will be looking to capture its fifth women's track & field conference title since 2015 and its first since 2023, as events will take place on Saturday and Sunday on the campus of the University of Maine at Orono.
