BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving open up their season with a 161-36 victory over Saint Joseph's College of Maine in the program's first ever virtual swim meet on Friday evening inside Webber Pool.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Abbie Howe, Adelaide Ross, Kayla Payson, and Maddie Wing combined to win the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:01.58.
- Sydney Jordan, Emily Grinnell, Ivana Radovanovic and Abby Ketch swam in an exhibition 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:14.09.
- Erin Aucoin won the 200 Free (2:12.56) and the 100 Free (1:00.16).
- Jillian Clapp finished third (2:15.60) and second in the 100 Free (1:00.85).
- Payson won the 50 Fly (28.43) and 100 IM (1:08.37).
- Wing took second in the 50 Fly (29.83) and won the 50 Free (27.68).
- Hannah Soutter placed fourth in the 50 Fly (32.48) and second in the 100 Back (1:14.03).
- Radovanovic was fifth in the 50 Fly (34.16) and the 100 Back (1:18.31).
- Ross won the 100 Breast (1:18.01) and finished second in the 100 IM (1:11.14).
- Grinnell took second in the 100 Breast (1:23.40) and the 50 Breast (37.70).
- Ketch won the 50 Back (31.70) and finished second in the 50 Free (27.70).
- Howe finished second in the 50 Back (31.97) and won the 100 Back (1:09.81).
- Kerrigan Smith placed third in the 50 Back (36.78) and fourth in the 100 Back (1:17.86).
- Isabella Vanier was fifth in the 100 Free (1:12.06) and fourth in the 50 Free (31.37).
- Ava Emery won the 50 Breast (36.24) and placed third in the 100 IM (1:12.41).
- Jordan took third in the 50 Free (30.84).
- Alyssa Patterson won the 1-meter diving (6-dive program) with 146.90 points.
- Aucoin, Emery, Clapp and Wing came together to win the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:54.29.
- Radovanovic, Jordan, Soutter, and Vanier swam in an exhibition 200 Free Relay with a time of 2:03.95.
