Box Score Bangor, ME: The Husson University men's
basketball team held off U. Maine Machias Saturday afternoon 94-78,
after a strong second half and a team high 16 points from guard
Brad Libby
(So. Brewer, ME). The Eagles finished with 5 players
in double figures and another 16 points and 7 rebounds from Matt
Mackenzie (Sr. Warren, ME).

to 3 at the midway point.

first 4:45 of the frame, and would soon push their lead to 22, the
second largest margin of the game, just a few minutes later.
U. Maine Machias was lead by the strong play of forwards Zach
Armstrong (So. Waldoboro, ME) and Clifford
McDonald (Jr. Sarasota, FL). Both Clippers finished
with double-doubles as McDonald lead the game with his 25 points
and 14 rebounds and Armstrong added 21 and 11 respectively.
Classes resume for the spring semester on the Husson campus
Tuesday the 19th as the Eagles travel to Farmington to
take on the Beavers at 5:30pm.
