Bangor, Maine – Husson University edged Green Mountain College 79-74 at Newman Gym in a North Atlantic Conference game. Brock Bradford (Jr, Kenduskeag, ME) lead the Eagles with 16 points and a career high 12 assists.

The Eagles built an 11 point lead with 3:34 to play when Nick Perras (Sr, Lancaster, NH) hit a three to make it 74-63. Green Mountain answered with a 8-0 run to make it 74-71 with 1:20 to go in the game. Gerad Johnson (So, Binghamton, NY) capped off the run with a pair of foul shots.

Perras connected with his third three of the half with just under a minute to play to extend the lead to six. Rui Carmo (Jr, Cape Coral, FL) answered for Green Mountain with a three at the top of the circle making it 74-77. Bryson Greene (Jr, Bronx, NY) stole the ball from Bradford with 22 seconds left giving Green Mountain a chance to tie the game. Fabian Ferreira (Sr, Queens, NY) three pointer hit the back of the rim and Husson secured the rebound. Bradford added two foul shots to close the game.

Perras finished with 15 points and Matt Mackenzie (Jr, Warren , ME) had 20 points. Carmo finished with a game high 21 points while Greene added 15 points and 7 rebounds and Johnson had 14 points.

Husson moves to 6-9 (3-1 NAC) on the season while Green Mountain falls to 8-5 (0-3 NAC).
