WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference named its weekly award winners for women's volleyball on Monday and Husson University volleyball senior Janna Preskorn and freshman Eden Fraser were honored.

Preskorn was tabbed player of the week after she continued to pace the Husson offense in a 1-1 week of action, as the senior recorded her fourth double-double in her past five games to begin the week at home in a straight-sets win over the University of Maine at Fort Kent, recording 15 kills, 15 digs, four service aces, two block assists and one assist. Preskorn ended her week with an 11-kill, seven-dig, four-assist outing at the University of Southern Maine on Saturday, while hitting .377 for the week with just three attack errors.

Fraser picked up her second-straight rookie of the week award as she continued to efficiently run Husson's offense out of the setter position, as she posted two more performances of at least 24 assists, as the freshman began her week with a 31-assist performance in a home win over the University of Maine at Fort Kent, in addition to adding eight digs, three service aces and three kills. On Saturday, Fraser ended her week with 24 assists at the University of Southern Maine, in addition to five digs, one service ace and one kill.

The Eagles are back in action at home tomorrow when they battle New England College at 6 p.m.
