WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its weekly award winners for women's volleyball on Monday and Husson University freshman Eden Fraser was selected as rookie of the week.
Fraser put together a strong performance at the North Country Challenge in Potsdam, as the setter totaled 117 assists across four matches, including a 47-assist game against SUNY Potsdam, which fell just three-shy of the Husson single-match record. Additionally, Fraser added 34 digs and three service aces in matches against Vermont State University Johnson, Potsdam, Keuka College and Hilbert College.
Additionally, senior Janna Preskorn was named to the honor roll for her efforts on the weekend.
The Eagles return to the court tomorrow with a matchup at Newman Gymnasium against the University of Maine at Fort Kent at 6 p.m.
