| By:

BANGOR, Maine – Husson University head field hockey coach Kaitlin Dolloff has announced her decision to step down from the position on Monday.

Dolloff will still remain on the Husson women's lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant coach.

"I am grateful for my time as head field hockey coach at Husson University," said Dolloff. "I am proud of what our program accomplished together and look forward to watching its continued success in the years ahead."

Dolloff served as Husson's head field hockey coach for three seasons from 2023-2025, leading the Eagles to one North Atlantic Conference championship, two Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference titles and one Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship.

Compiling a 28-21 record over her three seasons at the helm, Dolloff exits as the third-winningest coach in program history, while also adding a 10-2 record in conference games.

A one-time CMCFHC Coach of the Year winner, Dolloff helped Husson to two regular season conference titles and back-to-back ECAC championship game appearances in 2024 and 2025, while coaching one conference player of the year, three conference defensive players of the year, one conference rookie of the year and one conference senior scholar athlete.

In total, Dolloff guided 15 all-conference honorees, four All-ECAC selections, two National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region members and two NFHCA Senior Team recipients.

Off the field, Husson earned 20 NFHCA National Academic Squad selections and five College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees.

"Kaitlin has made a tremendous impact on our field hockey program during her three seasons as head coach," said Executive Director of Athletics Christopher Parsons. "Her leadership helped guide the Eagles to conference and postseason championships while fostering a culture of excellence, resilience, and student-athlete development. We are grateful for the passion and dedication she brought to the program and for the positive influence she has had on our student-athletes both on and off the field. We are pleased that Kaitlin will continue to be a part of the Husson Athletics family through her role with our women's lacrosse program, and we look forward to her continued contributions. We thank her for her service as head field hockey coach and wish her continued success moving forward."

A search for Husson's next field hockey coach is underway in preparation for the 2026 season.
