WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference named its first weekly award winners of the season for track & field on Tuesday and Husson University women's track & field junior Abigail Conlogue was named field athlete of the week.
Conlogue earned an event win in her first meet of the spring, as she took home the win in the javelin throw with a distance of 33.69 meters. Conlogue also took part in the discus throw and hammer throw, recording distances of 19.83 meters and 29.45 meters.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday when they compete in the Black Bear Meet at the New Balance Outdoor Track & Field Complex at the University of Maine.
