WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference announced its final weekly awards of the season for women's soccer on Monday and Husson University women's soccer senior Olivia Charles was selected as co-player of the week.
Charles scored the eventual game-winner for Husson in a 2-0 regular season finale win over Maine Maritime on Wednesday. Charles headed in a corner kick from senior Rylee Speed to put the Eagles up 1-0 in the first half, as Husson clinched the second seed and a first round bye in the NAC Women's Soccer Tournament with the win.
Additionally for Husson, senior Emma Nicholson was selected to the weekly honor roll for her efforts over the week.
The Eagles are back in action tonight in the semifinals of the NAC tournament, as they will host Maine Maritime Academy at 6 p.m. on Boucher Field.
