WATERVILLE, Maine – The Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday and Husson University field hockey sophomore Ella Duchette and freshman Grace Allen were honored.

Duchette secured her third-consecutive goalie of the week award after a shutout on homecoming on Saturday against the University of Maine at Farmington in which she did not face a shot during the victory, in addition to a seven-save performance on Wednesday at Springfield College in a tough 1-0 defeat.

Allen was named rookie of the week for a second-straight week after a strong performance in the midfield in Husson's 1-1 week. Allen showcased strong abilities in Husson's transition game, limiting any strong attacks from the Farmington offense, while also quickly allowing Husson to get back on the offensive end of the field.

The Eagles return to action on Wednesday when they head to No. 15 Bowdoin College for a 7 p.m. contest.
