BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England announced their 2025 Fall Academic All-Conference list on Monday afternoon. In all, 927 student-athletes earned honors across 11 core institutions and five associate members, including the Husson University football team, who placed 28 players on the squad.
In January and June each academic year, the conference recognizes an Academic All-Conference Team. Each member institution is responsible for determining its qualified student-athletes. Criteria for recognition is: at least sophomore status athletically and academically with one academic year in residence at their current institution; hold a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale; active member of a roster for a Conference-sponsored sport.
The January recognition covers men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, women's volleyball, field hockey, men's and women's golf, and football. The June recognition includes men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis and men's and women's track and field student-athletes.
Graduate transfers, regardless of enrollment at their current institution, are eligible. First years, freshmen and undergraduate transfers in their first semester at their current institution are not eligible.

Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 11 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition and a meaningful student life.
