Walsh selected as LEC swimmer of the week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference unveiled its weekly award for men's swimming & diving on Monday and Husson University senior Alex Walsh was named swimmer of the week.

Walsh secured two race wins in Husson's dual-meet victory over Gordon College, as he took first in the 200 freestyle (1:51.16) and the 200 backstroke (2:05.36), while also finishing second in the 400 IM (4:42.33).

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday when they head to Maine Maritime Academy for a 12 p.m. dual-meet.
