BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Husson University men's cross country team competed in the State of Maine Intercollegiate Championship on Saturday, hosted by Bowdoin College at the Pickard Field Cross Country Course.
As a unit, Husson finished 11th out of the 13 team field, with Bates College taking home the team championship.
Junior Micah Bryan was the top finisher for the Eagles with a time of 30:14.64, while freshman Jake Violette clocked a time of 31:07.37.
Fellow first-year Oden Schlager crossed the finish line with a time of 34:23.13, in addition to junior Thomas Hinton posting a time of 37:34.32.
Seniors Jaden Grazulis and Christian Zapata rounded out the field for Husson with times of 41:33.76 and 42:38.74 respectively.
The Eagles return to the course on Oct. 4 for the North Atlantic Conference Preview Meet at Saxl Park in Bangor.
