WATERVILLE, Maine – The Husson University men's track & field team was chosen to finish third in the pre-championship poll for the 2025 North Atlantic Conference men's outdoor track & field championship, hosted by Thomas College at the Alfond Track on the campus of Colby College this Friday and Saturday.
Thomas College and the University of Maine at Farmington are projected to battle for the top spot, each earning three first-place votes and 33 total points in the coaches' pre-championship poll. Husson is ranked third with 24 points, followed by the University of Maine-Presque Isle (13), Lesley University (12) and Vermont State University Johnson (11).

David Hileman ranks among the NAC's top distance runners this spring for the Eagles, recording the conference's best 5K time (16:10.00) and second-fastest 10K mark (32:55.01) at the Tufts Snowflake Classic (3/29/25). Freshman
Matthew Scamman leads the NAC in the 400m Hurdles (1:01.59) and is poised to contribute, while junior
Jaden Grazulis is expected to score in all three throwing events: discus, hammer, and javelin.
The NAC Championship opens Friday at 3:00 PM with the men's and women's pole vault and high jump events. The remaining events begin Saturday at 11:20 AM.
