WATERVILLE, Maine — The Husson University women's track & field team competed in the two-day Pine Tree State Classic on Friday and Saturday hosted by Colby College.
Freshman
Molly Dearborn continued her impressive season finishing 10th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.46, while adding an eighth-place performance in the 200-meters at 28.53 seconds.
Sophomore
Olivia Underwood posted a personal-best mark of 1:14.03 in the 400 meters before adding another PR in the 1,500 meters with a mark of 6:09.22. Additionally, sophomore
Abby Hunt also posted a PR time of 5:56.96 in the 1,500 meters.
Junior Grace Before posted a PR in the 5,000 meters, finishing with a time of 20:10.30 to finish fifth overall.
Senior
Ava Dowling finished as the State of Maine runner up in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:06.32, while junior Alexis Freeman clocked a PR time of 15:48.39 to finish seventh.

Brooke Chase and
Natasha Monreal along with Dearborn finished fifth with a mark of 51.78 seconds.
Junior
Nina Gregory finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.51 meters and Freeman added her second top-10 performance in the pole vault, clearing 2.95 meters to finish third overall.
Additionally, freshman Bri Andrews finished eighth in the pole vault at 2.05 meters, posting a new PR, while Gregory also set a new PR in the pole vault at 1.95 meters to finish ninth.
Monreal cleared 5.09 meters in the long jump to finish third overall, while adding an eighth-place jump of 10.25 meters, followed by Chase who finished ninth with a distance of 10.01 meters. Andrews set a PR in the triple jump with a distance of 9.36 meters.
Freshman
Paige Chesbro set a PR in the discus, finishing eighth overall with a mark of 31.96 meters along with
Dani Espenscheid who added a PR in the discus at 25.26 meters and a PR in the shot put with a throw of 6.61 meters.
Sophomore Abbie Conlogue set a PR in the discus, throwing 23.05 meters, while senior
Aaralyn Scroggins set a PR in the hammer at 35.91 meters.
Conlogue finished sixth overall in the javelin at 31.44 meters, while junior
Allyson Dearborn added a PR throw of 23.40 meters.
Husson will now compete in the North Atlantic Conference Championship on Saturday hosted by Colby College.
