Women’s golf wraps up final round of Martin and Wallace Invitational

CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Husson University women's golf team finished the final round of the Martin and Wallace Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Cortland Country Club in Cortland, New York.

The Eagles finished in ninth-place with a score of 840, while Ithaca College captured the team-title with a two-day score of 634, including a 302 in today's round.

Individually for Husson, senior Lindsay Cote was the top finisher with a score of +25 on the day to conclude her weekend with a score of +41.

Junior Allie Weinert had the best round two score for the Eagles with a 22-over, 94, on Sunday to finish at +50 for the weekend.

Classmate Caitlyn Chabot posted a 39-over, 111, on the final day of the tournament to finish at +57 for the event, while freshman Emma Kuhn contributed a 56-over, 128, to finish at +116 over the two-day event.

The Eagles are back on the links on Apr. 26 for the start of the Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Club in Syracuse, New York.
