BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University football team announced its 2025 schedule on Thursday featuring seven Conference of New England matchups and three non-conference showdowns.

Nat Clark said. "As always, our non-conference portion of the schedule will challenge us and prepare us for CNE play. The first five weeks of the season will define our team and establish our identity. We are eagerly preparing for the Fall schedule and the challenges it will bring."
The Eagles open their 2025 season on the road at Framingham State University on Sept. 6, Husson opened the 2024 season with a 56-14 win over the Rams.
Following Framingham State, Husson battles regional powerhouse Springfield College on the road Sept. 13. Springfield finished 12-1 last season winning the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Championship.
The Eagles close out their non-conference slate with a home matchup against Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Sept. 20, the Eagles and Engineers faceoff for the first time since 2019, WPI is 2-0 all-time and finished 6-4 last season.
Endicott College comes to town on Sept. 27 to open the CNE season, Endicott won the CNE conference title in 2024 and finished 10-2 losing 17-9 to No. 2 SUNY Cortland.
Following Endicott, the Eagles travel to Western New England University on Oct. 4 before hosting New England College on Oct. 18 for homecoming. NEC is one of two new institutions to the conference in 2025 and marks the first meeting between the two programs.
Husson and the University of New England will battle for the fifth annual Lobster Trap Game on Oct. 25 before hosting Curry College on Nov. 1.
The Eagles final road game of the 2025 season comes on Nov. 8 when they travel to Nichols College.
Husson closes out the regular season at home on Nov. 15 hosting Maine Maritime Academy for Senior Day. Maine Maritime Academy joins the conference in 2025 and Nov. 15 marks the first meeting between the programs.
