MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The Husson University women's outdoor track & field team set four personal-best times on Friday at the opening day of the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge host by Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
Junior
Grace Bedore finished 12th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:24.05, setting a new personal-best mark in the process.
While junior
Niamiah Perry set a PR in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.13.
Senior
Ava Dowling recorded a 14th-place finish in the 5,000 meters, breaking the program record with a time of 18:57.22.
Perry added another PR in the long jump with a distance of 4.65 meters.
Additionally, the Eagles 4x200-meter relay team of freshman
Brooke Chase, Perry and freshman
Natasha Monreal and
Molly Dearborn broke the program record with a time of 1:54.75.
Husson competes in the final day of the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge on Saturday at 10 a.m.
