BOSTON, Mass. — The Husson University women's indoor track & field team returned to the track on Saturday for the final day of the New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship meet hosted by The TRACK at New Balance.

Mackenzie Emerson headlined the day for the Eagles shattering the previous indoor program record in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 10:20.32 to finish 17th in the event. The previous record of 10:44.49 was set by the same quartet at the Maine State Indoor Championship meet in February.
Freshman
Natasha Monreal cleared 10.48 in the triple jump to finish 19th overall.
Additionally, junior
Nina Gregory competed in the high jump, clearing 1.49 meters to finish top 20 in the event.
Next up for the Eagles is their Spring Break trip south beginning with the University of North Carolina Wilmington Seahawk Invitational on Mar. 8.
