COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association has named 60 Division III senior student-athletes to the 2025 NFHCA Collegiate Senior Team and Husson University field hockey senior Maddie Perkins was of the honorees.
Perkins becomes the second field hockey player in program history to be named to the senior team, joining Kimmie Goddard, who earned a selection in 2023. This honor celebrates Perkins' competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence within the Husson program.
Selections are based on nominations submitted by NFHCA member coaches and reviewed by committees composed entirely of NFHCA coach members. Seniors are eligible for selection only once during their collegiate careers.
Perkins helped the Eagles to their second-straight Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference championship in a thrilling 3-2 overtime win over Thomas College, in addition to helping Husson to its first-ever Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference title with a 4-1 victory over Goucher College.
In her final season in the green and gold, Perkins tallied 10 goals and 13 assists, while also becoming the program's all-time assist leader, in addition to setting the single-season record with 13 assists. Additionally, Perkins ranks second all-time in total points and was named CMCFHC player of the year this season.
