WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference released its prechampionship poll results for women's cross country on Thursday and Husson University was chosen second by the coaches.
The University of Maine at Farmington, last year's runners-up, were chosen to finish first with all four first-place votes and 16 total points coming their way.
The Eagles were picked second, as they look to claim their first conference crown since 2023 with 12 total points coming their way.
Thomas College was picked third by the coaches with eight points, while the University of Maine-Presque Isle rounded-out the field with four points.
The championship is set to take place on Saturday at Saxl Park in Bangor.
