Carroll named NAC rookie of the week

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference released its weekly awards for women's cross country on Tuesday and Husson University freshman Lucinda Carroll was named rookie of the week.

Carroll made an instant impact in her first race as an Eagle, placing fourth at the Thomas Invite with a time of 28:02.8. The Eagles came away with the team win in the event, besting Thomas by 16 points.

Husson returns to action on Nov. 1 for the NAC Championship meet, which will take place at Saxl Park in Bangor.
