BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University women's swimming & diving team swam past a difficult Maine Maritime Academy team 195-100 on Saturday as the Eagles recognized senior's

Katarina Christensen and
Grace Rocheleau prior to the meet.
Husson wasted no time getting on the board early as the its 200-yard medley relay team of Madden, sophomores
Logan Williams and
Olivia Underwood along with freshman
Mariah Muskavitch won the event with a time of 2:04.91, while the team of sophomore
Mia Winslow, Rocheleau, sophomore
Mackenzie Gray and freshman
Riley Crosby finished third with a 2:13.46.
Underwood went on to win the 200-yard freestyle with a 2:17.39, while freshman Gabby Hoffmann finished second at 2:20.34 and sophomore
Isabella Cost finished fifth with a 2:32.71.
Both Madden and Williams gave the Eagles their third and fourth-straight event wins as Madden won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:08.29 and Williams hit the wall at 1:20.71 to win the 100-yard breaststroke — setting a season-best personal best time in the process. Additionally, Winslow finished second in the 100-yard back, while freshman
Sofia Herrington finished fourth at 1:11.30.
Rocheleau and sophomore
Julia Brown finished third and fourth, respectively in the 100-yard breast with times of 1:28.01 and 1:30.97.
Collins continued the Eagles winning ways in the 200-yard butterfly, posting a winning time of 2:44.32, while Gray finished fourth with a 2:57.78.
After MMA broke the Eagles event streak by winning the 50-yard freestyle, Muskavitch, Crosby and Herrington finished second, third and fourth, respectively to win valuable points for the Eagles.
In the one-meter, five-dive event, junior
Riley Mahoney scored a 151.55 to win the event, while freshman Mairen Hoch and
Kaylin Morrison finished third and fourth, respectively, with scores of 98.45 and 95.75.
Muskavitch and Crosby both posted second and third-place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle with times of 1:03.03 and 1:05.18, while Cost tallied a 1:10.82 to finish fifth.
Winslow added a win in the 200-yard backstroke, clocking a 2:31.70, while Gray and Rocheleau finished third and fourth with times of 2:38.79 and 2:40.96, respectively.
In the 200-yard breaststroke, Madden swam away with the event winning by over 12 seconds with a time of 2:48.57, followed by Williams who finished third and Brown with a fifth-place finish.
Collins recorded her second individual win on the day in the 100-yard butterfly, hitting the wall at 1:09.91, while Cost and junior
Maggie Poulin finished fourth and fifth-respectively.
Underwood pulled away on the final laps of the 500-yard freestyle, posting a PR time of 6:05.61 to win the event, while Hoffmann also recorded a PR time of 6:15.04 to finish third. Additionally, Herrington scored for the Eagles in the event with a fifth-place finish.
Mahoney added her second diving win of the meet in the one-meter, six-dive event with a score of 215.20, while Hoch added a third-place point total of 144.40.
In the 200-yard IM, Collins continued her stellar day, adding her third individual event win with a time of 2:36.30 — setting a PR in the event — while Winslow finished third with a 2:43.82 and Rocheleau added a fifth-place swim.
The Eagles 200-yard freestyle relay team of Muskavitch, Madden, Crosby and Collins won the event at 1:53.04, while Brown, Gray, Williams and Herrington finished third with a 1:58.15.
In the final event of Saturday's meet, Hoffmann posted a 21:23.38 in the 1650-yard freestyle to finish second, while Underwood finished third at 21:24.65.
Next up for the Eagles is the Little East Conference Championship on Feb. 13-16 at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Mass.
