STANDISH, Maine — The Husson University women's swimming & diving team began the second half of its 2024-25 season with a road win over Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
Senior's
Grace Rocheleau,
Erin Madden along with freshman
Morgan Collins and sophomore
Olivia Underwood finished second in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:08.31, while sophomore's
Mia Winslow,
Logan Williams,
Mackenzie Gray and
Julia Brown finished third with a mark of 2:13.87.
Freshman Gabby Hoffman clocked a 13:03.00 in the 1,000-yard freestyle to finish second, followed by junior
Maggie Poulin and sophomore
Isabella Cost finish third and fourth, respectively.
Underwood won the 200-yard freestyle with a mark 2:14.73 followed by freshmen
Sofia Herrington and
Riley Crosby who finished third and fourth.
In the 50-yard backstroke, Rocheleau and Winslow finished second and third with times of 33.66 and 33.98.
Madden and Williams posted times of 37.06 and 37.49, respectively in the 50-yard breaststroke to finish second and third.
Collins added a win in the 200-yard butterfly, posting a 2:44.20, while freshman
Mariah Muskavitch, Crosby and Brown went second, third and fourth in the 50-yard freestyle.
Collins finished second in the 100-yard freestyle, while Crosby and Cost each finish third and fourth.
Madden added to the Eagles point total with a win in the 200-yard backstroke, followed by Winslow who finished second.
Underwood claimed her second meet win in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking a 6:12.63, followed by Hoffmann who finished second.
Madden won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:32.08, while Underwood, Winslow, Collins and Muskavitch clocked a 4:18.15 in the 400-yard freestyle to finish second.
Next up for Husson is a home meet on Jan. 18 against the University of Maine Club Team.
