BABSON PARK, Mass. — The Husson University volleyball team dropped its season opener against Babson College 3-0 on the road Friday evening. 
 
Babson (1-0) jumped out on Husson (0-1) 25-8 in the opening set hitting .222 to take an early 1-0 set advantage. 
 
The Eagles fell to Babson 25-12 in the second set before ending the match with a 25-10 set-three loss. 
 
Senior Beatrice Tursi led the Eagles on the evening with eight digs, while senior Alexa Beal and freshman Kimberly Daniels each added a block. 
 
Husson returns to action on Saturday when it battles Bard College at 11 a.m. and Colby-Sawyer College at 1 p.m. in its final two games of the Babson Tournament.
