Nathan Vibber scored four goals to help Husson University earn a North Atlantic Conference victory with a decisive 15-8 win over State University of New York at Cobleskill in men's lacrosse action at the Cobleskill Complex on Saturday afternoon.
SUNY Cobleskill (1-8, 0-5) kicked off the contest with a 1-0 lead, as Alex Baker hit pay dirt at the 14:20 mark to provide his team with the early advantage. Husson (5-9, 2-4) answered one minute and 35 seconds later to even the game at 1-1 when junior

Matt Boynton feed before Albert Sippio gave the Tigers the lead back with a man-up goal with 9:57 left in the opening stanza.
Vibber and Lyne tallied goals 59 seconds apart as Husson took a two goal lead at the 6:14 mark of the first. However, their lead didn't last long as Trevor Masocco netted an unassisted goal two minutes later to tie the game at 3-3 with 4:05 left in the opening period. Boynton and Vibber scored in the closing minutes of the first quarter that saw the Eagles carry a 5-3 cushion into the second stanza.
In the second stanza, the Eagles and the Tigers traded goals that helped Husson take 8-5 advantage into halftime. Husson received goals from freshman

Sean D'Amaro opened the scoring in the third when he took a pass from Sippio 1:01 into the frame, but Husson proceeded to register seven of the next nine goals for the 15-8 victory.
Husson held the lead in shots (46-33), shots on goal (36-20), ground balls (49-29) and face-off wins (22-5) in today's triumph.
Sophomore
Odin Burk made 12 saves in the net for the Eagles to earn his second win of the season while James Meier stopped 21 shots for SUNY Cobleskill.
Vibber led the Eagles' offense with four goals on 10 shots. Lyne added three goals, an assist and five ground balls. Gillilan tacked on three goals, three ground balls and caused one turnover. Sippio notched two goals and two assists with four ground balls and a caused turnover to led SUNY Cobleskill on the afternoon. D'Amaro added a pair of goals on eight shots with an assist and two ground balls. Baker netted two goals with four ground balls and a caused turnover. Rob Staubitz had a goal and an assist while Masocco was credit with a goal in the setback.
The Eagles will play at SUNY Delhi on Sunday in a NAC contest slated to start at 12 p.m.
