WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly track & field awards on Tuesday and Husson University junior
Ava Dowling was named track athlete of the week while freshman
Abigail Conlogue earned rookie of the week honors.
Dowling won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Monks Invitational, hosted by St. Joseph's of Maine, with a time of 12:09.01. Her mark qualified her for the New England DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships in just her second career steeplechase race.
Conlogue won the javelin throwing a distance of 34.85 meters at Monks Invitational.
