ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Junior
Rachel Hand placed 33rd in the 200-yard individual medley preliminary this morning at the 2019 Eastern College Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Open Championship at the Lejeune Hall on the campus of host United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The meet features swimming & diving programs from NCAA division I, II and III.
Hand turned in a time of 2:22.19 to become the second swimmer in Husson University women's swimming & diving program history to compete in the ECAC open championship meet and the first in six years.
The junior returns to the water tomorrow to race in the 100-yard backstroke preliminaries. The morning prelims begin at 10:00 a.m. with Hand competing in sixth event of the morning.
