WALTHAM, Mass. — The Husson University women's basketball team dropped its final game of the Brandeis Tip-Off Tournament 85-54 to Framingham State University on Saturday.
Framingham State (1-1) jumped out to an early 33-17 advantage after the opening quarter and led 40-21 over Husson (0-2) at the break.
The Rams ended the game on a 45-33 scoring run to come away with the 85-54 scoring run.
Senior
Lauren Cook led the Eagles with 13 points on 3-3 shooting from 3-point range. Senior
Jordyn Lengle tallied eight points and eight rebounds, while freshman
Alyssa Harris recorded a team-high five assists.
Framingham State finished the matchup with a 48-12 advantage on points in the paint and a 41-24 edge in bench points.
Husson will battle Bates College on the road Friday at 6 p.m.
