NORTHAMPTON, Mass. — The Husson University volleyball team returned to action on Saturday battling SUNY Plattsburgh and Smith College in the Smith College Tournament falling 3-0 in both contests.
SUNY Plattsburgh (4-19) picked up three-straight 25-18 decisions over Husson (6-14) to earn a 3-0 decision.
Sophomore
Janna Preskorn finished with a game-high 13 kills, while senior
Alyvia McIntyre posted a game-high 18 assists.
In Husson's tournament finale, Smith (22-5) won the opening set 25-8, followed by a 25-16 set-two decision and a 25-19 win in set three.
Preskorn and freshman
Mikayla Gray finished with three kills each, while McIntyre recorded three service aces.
Husson battles Maine Maritime Academy on the road Wednesday at 7 p.m. in North Atlantic Conference action.
